      <r:Content xml:lang="sv">Detta dataset sammanställdes till artikeln "Experimental riparian forest gaps and increased sediment loads modify stream metabolic patterns and biofilm composition". Rådata inkluderar syrgasdata, temperatur och chl a från experimentella kanaler/bäckar. Projektet i stort syftar till att öka förståelsen för skogsbrukets påverkan på rinnande vatten och specifikt hur kantzoner bäst utformas för att värna ekologiska funktioner i små bäckar. Huvudfrågeställningen i den specifika artikeln är hur finsediment och ljusförhållanden påverkar algtillväxt i boreala källflöden (små bäckar).</r:Content>

Raw data includes mesocosm stream channel oxygen data, temperature data, and flourometric chl a data. This manuscript is part of a larger project which aims at evaluating how current forest management practices effect ecological functions of headwaters. This specific dataset was collected to answer how fine sediments and light conditions affect algal biofilms in small, boreal waters.</r:Content>
