      <abstract xml:lang="en" contentType="abstract">This dataset holds bi-weekly measurements of of methane fluxes from long-term experimental warming treatments, using open top chambers, at Latnjajaure Field station, outside Abisko. The experiment is set up in five plant communities: Dry Heath (HD), Dry Meadow (MD), Mesic Meadow (MM), Wet Meadow (MW) and Tussock Tundra (TT), and has been running since 1993/1994 with the measurements of methane fluxes conducted in 2017 and 2018. Additional data from bi-weekly measurements on Soil Water Content (SWC) and soil temperature (Tsoil) is also added. Single time measurements of as well as Soil Organic Matter (SOM) content, pH, vegetation height and biomass is also included in the dataset.</abstract>
      <abstract xml:lang="sv" contentType="abstract">Denna datauppsättning innehåller mätningar (varannan vecka) av metanflöden från långsiktiga experimentella uppvärmningsbehandlingar, vid Latnjajaure fältstation utanför Abisko. Experimentet är uppställt i fem växtsamhällen: torr hed (HD), torräng (MD), mesisk äng (MM), våtäng (MW) och tuvullstundra (TT). Experimentet har pågått sedan 1993/1994 med mätningar av metanflöden utförda under 2017 och 2018. Ytterligare data från mätningar av markfuktighet (SWC) och marktemperatur (Tsoil) är också includerade. Engångsmätningar av såväl markens organiska material (SOM), pH, vegetationshöjd och biomassa ingår också i datauppsättningen.</abstract>

        <collMode xml:lang="en">Fluxes of methane were measured on a bi-weekly basis during the growing season of 2017 and 2018 (June – August). A transparent chamber (Ø = 20 cm, h = 20 cm) equipped with a pressure vent was fitted to pre-installed soil collars (inserted 5-10 cm into the soil) and an airtight seal was obtained by folding down a rubber tape from the chamber over the collar. The corresponding change in methane concentration in the chamber was measured using an Ultraportable Greenhouse Gas Analyzer (operating at 1 Hz, UGGA, Los Gatos Research, San Jose, U.S.). 

In connection to all flux measurements, soil temperatures at - 5 cm (Tsoil) and soil water content at 0 – 6 cm (SWC) were recorded at four locations around the chamber (using a hand-held thermometer and an ML3 ThetaProbe, Delta-T Devices, Cambridge, U.K., respectively), 

Additional soil data were also collected, including pH and soil organic matter (SOM),  from 5 cm deep soil cores (Ø = 2.5 cm) collected in July 2019.
