      <r:Content xml:lang="sv">Denna kartläggningsenkät har haft som målsättning att undersöka hur svenska forskningsorganisationer idag arbetar med att spåra datapubliceringar, och även att fånga in mer kvalitativa redogörelser för vilka hinder för spårbarheten som identifieras och hur respondenterna ser att de kortsiktigt eller långsiktigt kan överbryggas.

Enkäten besvarades av 54 respondenter, varav de flesta på olika sätt var involverade i forskningsstödjande funktioner.

Svensk nationell datatjänsts flaggskeppsprojekt "Spårbara forskningsdata: metoder och rekommendationer för ökad spårbarhet och synlighet för svenska datapubliceringar" syftar till att förbättra hanteringen och spårbarheten för datapubliceringar vid svenska lärosäten. Projektet undersöker hur datapubliceringar kan identifieras, registreras och följas upp långsiktigt.

Genom att utveckla metoder för att skörda metadata och ta fram rekommendationer kan projektet bidra till ökad spårbarhet, synlighet och kvalitetssäkring för forskningsdata i linje med FAIR-principerna. Resultaten kommer att göras öppet tillgängliga som nuläges- och gapanalyser, rekommendationer och förslag på tekniska lösningar.

Projektets mål är att skapa förutsättningar för att möta nationella krav på uppföljning och rapportering. Lärosäten, forskare och andra aktörer får hjälp att identifiera och synliggöra publicerade forskningsdata, vilket stärker svensk forskning nationellt och internationellt.</r:Content>
      <r:Content xml:lang="en">The aim of this survey was to investigate how Swedish research organizations currently work with tracking published datasets, and also to capture more qualitative accounts of what problems are experienced and how respondents see that they can be solved in the short or long term.

The survey was answered by 54 respondents, mostly individuals involved in various research support roles.

"Traceable research data: Methods and recommendations for enhanced traceability and visibility of Swedish data publications" is a Flagship project by the Swedish National Data Service, aiming to improve the management and traceability of published datasets at Swedish higher education institutions. It explores how published datasets can be identified, registered, and tracked over time.

By developing methods for harvesting metadata and producing practical recommendations, the project contributes to improved traceability, visibility, and quality assurance of research data in alignment with the FAIR principles. The results will be made openly accessible in the form of current state and gap analyses, recommendations, and proposed technical solutions.

The goal of the project is to establish conditions that support national requirements for monitoring and reporting. Universities, researchers, and other stakeholders will gain support in identifying and highlighting published research data, thereby strengthening Swedish research both nationally and internationally.</r:Content>
