Genome-wide DNA methylation was analyzed at the SNP&SEQ Technology Platform, SciLifeLab, National Genomics Infrastructure Uppsala, Sweden. Per sample, 250 ng of genomic DNA was bisulfite converted using EZ DNA MethylationTM Kit from Zymo Research.
