For e-book readers and mobile phones there are also EPUB files available. The Literature Bank also offers authoritative overviews and presentations of various authorships and disciplines. The aim is to develop the Literature Bank into a website that holds the key works in Swedish literature: new texts are generally added monthly. The literature bank is also, in cooperation with various publishing projects, developing tools and infrastructure for publishers who work with or plan to start publishing various works and authors. Primarily the Literature Bank is cooperating with the Selma Lagerlöf Archive and with the publishing of the sermons of Esaias Tegnér. Purpose: The aim of the Swedish Literature Bank is to be a free cultural-historical and literary resource for research, teaching and popular education. It is meant for all: scientists, teachers and students as well as those with a general interest in literature. The main task is to collect and digitize literary works and the most important works of the humanities, and to make the material available in a way that makes it possible for users to work with it. I Litteraturbanken kan man läsa och söka i texter, ladda ner och skriva ut pdf-filer och se faksimilbilder av böcker och manuskript som annars kan vara svårtillgängliga. För läsplattor och mobiltelefoner finns också epub-filer. Litteraturbanken erbjuder också vederhäftiga översikter och presentationer över olika författarskap och ämnesområden. Målet är att utveckla Litteraturbanken till en webbplats som rymmer det viktigaste inom svensk litteratur: nya texter tillkommer i stort sett varje månad. Litteraturbanken utvecklar också, i samarbete med olika utgivningsprojekt, redskap och infrastruktur för utgivare som arbetar med eller planerar att börja ge ut olika verk och författarskap. I första hand samarbetar Litteraturbanken med Selma Lagerlöf-arkivet och utgivningen av Esaias Tegnérs predikningar. Syfte: Litteraturbankens syfte är att vara en fri kulturhistorisk och litterär resurs för forskning, undervisning och folkbildning. Den är till för alla: forskare, lärare, studerande och litterärt allmänintresserade. Huvuduppgiften är att samla in och digitalisera skönlitteratur och viktigare humaniora samt tillgängliggöra materialet på sådant sätt att det blir möjligt för användare att arbeta med det.
