This dataset contains specimen data of terrestrial and limnic invertebrates from Gothenburg natural history museum. The collections contain several million specimens and new material are digitized continuously. It includes mostly Swedish specimens but also material collected in other parts of the world. A large part of the Swedish material comes from the museum's ”Terrestrial invertebrate faunistic research program”, which was carried out from the 1920s until 1981.
The main bulk of the material consists of ethanol preserved specimens.
