Records were obtained using two complementary monitoring approaches: eDNA metabarcoding, based on water samples and Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structures (ARMS) (https://www.embrc.eu/marine-monitoring-and-modelling/) bulk samples, and baited remote underwater video (BRUV). For the BRUV approach, the associated video data were also used to train a machine learning model to identify the recorded taxa.
