Titles of each prayer book is included in the source (but not included in the word count). Spelling has been normalised to enable quantification. Materialet utgörs av transkriberingar av de 5000 första orden (ord på titelblad, i förord, inledande kalendarium, osv har uteslutits) i de fem bönböcker som publicerades på svenska mellan åren 1552 och 1572. Titlar på respektive bönbok framgår av materialet (ej inräknat i de 5000 orden). Stavning har normaliserats för att möjliggöra kvantifiering.
