Data for "Epidemiology of invasive pneumococcal disease in Southwest Sweden during the first eleven years after the introduction of general childhood pneumococcal vaccination"

This dataset contains pseudonymised data on sex, age, clinical manifestations, and comorbidities for 2,280 individuals with invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) in Region Västra Götaland during the post-introduction period following the inclusion of pneumococcal vaccination in the childhood immunisation programme in 2009 through 2019. Data were retrieved from patient medical records based on information provided by the microbiological laboratories serving all hospitals in the Västra Götaland Region regarding IPD episodes.

Data (images) for: New barcodes of freshwater diatoms from Sweden

The published data are images of freshwater diatoms, taken within the national barcoding project FRESHBAR (2019-2023), a research project focusing on the development of DNA methods for national environmental monitoring. The project was financed by the Environmental Protection Agency’s environmental research grant in collaboration with the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management. The aim of the project was to establish as many diatom cultures as possible, to generate their barcodes, to identify them to the lowest taxonomical level possible, and to make all results, data and material publicly available for further research and usage within environmental monitoring. FRESHBAR represents the first large-scale effort to generate barcode reference sequences for Nordic freshwater benthic diatoms. The images are part of the results. Images of living and prepared strains are stored with open access (license: CC0) in the e-archive of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), available under the permanent link https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12703/6968. Images are stored in different subfolders, grouped by taxon. Information on storage is found when searching in the menu “By subject”, where the metadata are found under “FRESHBAR images” in the file “FRESHBAR picture images SLU archive.xlsx”. Images taken with LM are stored in the subfolder https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12703/6822, SEM images in the subfolder https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12703/6823. Metadata are stored in the subfolder https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12703/6825. In order to find a specific image item, you can locate the handle in the provided mapfiles.txt, and then go to https://hdl.handle.net/[handle], e.g. for https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12703/6885 for SEM 1C11.

Data from: Evaluation of a novel NanoQuil vaccine against S. aureus-induced mastitis

The study was a clinical trial for a new mastitis vaccine run as a comparative study with Startvac as control. In total data from 199 lactations from 144 cows are included. Milk yield and somatic cell count (SCC) was the main evaluation points. This deposit contains raw data for the manuscript "Evaluation of a novel NanoQuil vaccine against S. aureus-induced mastitis".
"vaccineringar" file includes vaccination dates for all cows (dose 1, 2 (and 3 if relevant)).
"Kalvningar_2021-10-01-2023-05-12" includes actual calving date.
"Provmjolkningar_2021-10-01-2023-11-24" includes production data on milk yield and SCC.

Automated three-dimensional reflection traveltime modelling to detect dipping layer geometries from active seismic data - Matlab code

The code presented in this dataset determines the best-fitting geometries (strike and dip angles) of a dipping reflector with a known surface intersection from pre-stack seismic data, using an automated approach implemented in Matlab©. The modelling is first run on a single gather and then iterated on all available gathers.
It requires as input shot or receiver gathers in SEG-Y format, along with first-break and reflection traveltime picks in ASCII format. If desired, also a migrated stacked section can be uploaded. In addition to the resulting reflector geometry the output data shows RMS error matrix, modelled pre- and post-stack reflection and azimuth coverage.
The data provide also two example cases, a 3D synthetic model and a 2D real case.
To use the code, open ReflectionModelling.m on Matlab© and modify the first part of the code with the desired input and variables, then, run the code and enjoy!
See ReflectionModelling_Manual.pdf for more details.

Water samples for methane (CH4) and dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) analysis were collected at the central lake sampling location from surface (0.5 m) and bottom waters (near-sediment). Samples were collected on a monthly/bi-weekly basis and analyzed for CH4 and DIC concentrations (µmol/L).

Manual grab samples for chemical analysis are taken from the lake on a biweekly basis during ice-free conditions, and on a monthly basis during ice cover conditions. At the central lake sampling location water samples are collected from both epi- and hypolimnion during periods of stratification.
