<title>Data for: Temporal evolution of thermoacoustic streaming around a spatially confined temperature gradient</title>
<description>The dataset contains the experimental and numerical data for the publication titled "Temporal evolution of thermoacoustic streaming around a spatially confined temperature gradient" by Martens et al, Physical Review Applied 2026 (https://doi.org/10.1103/jhkv-lqlz). Code necessary to analyse and plot the data is also included. The study investigates the development of the temperature and velocity field during the buildup of thermoacoustic streaming when focused laser light is partially absorbed inside a bulk acoustic wave resonator.

Dataset organization
- Code: MATLAB scripts for generating figures and for data processing (text-files)
- COMSOL: Numerical modelling (mdl-files)
- Processed data: Processed data from the raw data (mat-files), exports from COMSOL simulations (text-files)
- Raw Data: Raw experimental data, contains images (tiff) and experiment settings (text, tdms).
