      <title>The Community SOM Survey 1996: Majorna</title>
      <description>Every year since 1986, the SOM Institute carries out a nationwide survey, National SOM (Riks-SOM), in which people are asked questions about politics, society, their use of media, public service, the environment, risks, new media technology and their leisure-time activities. Since 1992 a corresponding survey is carried out in Göteborg and its surrounding communities: Western SOM (Väst-SOM). Starting in 1996, a local study, Community SOM (Kom-SOM), is carried out in different municipalities surrounding Göteborg as well as town districts in the city of Göteborg. Thus the results from the SOM surveys shed light on three levels of society: the national, the regional and the municipal. The questionnaire fr the 1996 Kom survey was divided into four subject fields: mass media; politics and society; leisure and housing; and background.
The 1996 municipal survey was carried out in collaboration with the Gothenburg Region Association of Local Authorities.</description>

      <title>Trap catch of the European corn borer, Ostrinia nubilalis, in pheromone traps in Sweden 2013-2022</title>
      <description>The European corn borer exists as two pheromone strains using different blends of the two active compounds for sexual communication. The Z-strain is a major pest on maize and was observed for the first time in Sweden in 2010. This study monitored the occurrence of the two strains in Swedish maize fields by captures in pheromone traps during 2013-2022 to evaluate if the Z-strain is increasing in distribution and abundance and has become a threat for Swedish maize growers. In 2018, traps were placed also in areas without maize fields and Dichrorampha petiverella males were captured in these traps.

Weekly catches of male European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis) in traps baited with different pheromone blends (E-strain, Z-strain or hybrid) and placed in maize fields in south Sweden. The experiments were performed during June-August 2013-2022. In 2018, traps were also placed in areas far away from maize fields.</description>

The measurements were obtained with different payloads onboard a multi-rotor drone, and include data on SO2 flux, CO2 and SO2 concentration, navigation parameters, and other auxiliary information.       <title>Data for: Major gut microbiota perturbations in firstborn infants compared to those with older siblings soon after delivery</title>
      <description>These data underly a study which investigated the influence of early life exposures on longitudinal gut microbiota development during early childhood.

The dataset includes variables on:

Host factors and early life exposures: sex, delivery mode (caesarian section or vaginal), older siblings (yes or no), exposure to antibiotics during delivery (intrapartum antibiotics, yes or no) and breastfeeding.

Gut microbiota development: presence and population counts of selected bacterial groups at 9 timepoints between 3 days and 18 months of age. These data were obtained using quantitative bacterial culture of fecal samples, targeting key facultative and anaerobic bacteria of the infant gut (exception: samples obtained at 3 days of age were not cultured quantitatively and targeted facultative bacteria only).</description>

      <description>This dataset contains element concentrations of quantitative element screenings (ICP-MS, 70+ elements) conducted on filtered water samples and the filtered material (cut-off 0.22 μm) from samples taken in the Gulf of Bothnia during 2013 and 2014. The purpose of the study was to observe changes in the dissolved and particulate element concentrations along a slowly increasing salinity gradient.

The Gulf of Bothnia was sampled during spring flood and post-flood. Spring flood samples were collected in May and June 2013. Post-flood samples were collected in July 2014. All sampling stations were sampled at depths of 0.5, 5 and 10 m from the coast guard vessel KBV005 in May and June 2013.</description>

The purpose of the study was to observe changes in the dissolved and particulate element concentrations during spring flood and along a slowly increasing salinity gradient.

Water samples in the Råne River estuaries were collected during the spring flood in February, March and April 2014, in May and June 2013, and in May, June and July 2014. Water samples from the Råne River estuaries were taken from the coastguard vessel KBV005 in May and June 2013. Samples at all sampling stations were collected at 0.5, 5 and 10 meters deep if they were deep enough. At the sampling in March 2014, samples were taken from the first three stations in the estuaries while they were still covered with ice. In 2014, the tests were carried out through a hole in the ice. The hole was drilled with an ice drill and the samples pumped up from depths of 0.5, 5 and 10 meters.
Water samples from the Råne River were collected during the spring flood 2016, from March to July. In Råneälven, at the sampling station Orrbyn, samples were taken from a bridge in the middle of the river.</description>

Water samples from the Kalix estuaries were collected from the coastguard vessel KBV005 in May and June 2013. Water samples from all sampling stations were collected at a depth of 0.5, 5, and 10 meters, if they were deep enough. Water samples from the Kalix River during the spring flood 2016, from March to July. In Kalixälven, at the sampling station Kamlunge, samples were collected from a bridge in the middle of the river.
