Placental gene expression in two consecutive pregnancies

Differential gene expression was analyzed between in placenta from two consecutive pregnancies in from 10 women, in total 20 samples from BASIC study (Biological, Affect, Stress, Imaging, and Cognition in Pregnancy and the Puerperium), a population based prospective study at Uppsala University Hospital. Total tissue RNA was analyzed by use of Ion AmpliSeq Human Transcriptome Gene Expression kit.

In addition to placental gene expression data is also available for the maternal health during pregnancy collected by use of questionnaires and medical records.

Data availability

Currently, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), hinders data deposition of human genetic and sequencing data. The data and code used in this study are available from the authors upon reasonable request and with permission of BASIC study cohort.
