Rewiring of interactions in a changing environment: nettle-feeding butterflies and their parasitoids

Within the files attached here are the raw data associated to the published article (Audusseau et al. 2021). The file "Audusseau_etal_2021_rawData_RewiringInteractionsNettlefeedingButterflies.xlsx" gathers all information. One sheet "batch_monitoring" gathers the informations on the butterfly larvae collected. For each butterfly batch sampled, the number of butterfly larvae collected, the species identity, the larval instar, the site, the number of larvae that died due to parasitism and unknown causes, etc, are reported. The other sheet "First_observation_Ar.levana" reports the time of the first observation of Ar. levana within a 10 km buffer zone around each site (these data were extracted from the Swedish Species Observations System "Artportalen", 30/08/2019). Two sheets with detailed metadata are also provided. A separate file for each sheet is also provided as csv.

Audusseau_et_al_2020Sci.TotalEnviron.xlsx

The file include the raw data and metadata. The data correspond to the study an earthworm community in an urban wasteland. Over 87 quadrats distributed over all the site we measured the concentrations in 38 elements by X-ray Fluorescence and we sampled the earthworm community in each quadrat. ICP-OES measurements of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn concentrations in Lumbricus castaneus individuals and their associated soils were done for 30 of the 87 quadrats in order to study the ability of this species to bioaccumulate metals. Finally, we genotyped 175 individuals of Lumbricus castaneus at 8 microsatellites to study the population genetics of this species at the scale of the site and across the pollution gradient.

Data from: Past and present management influences the seed bank and seed rain in a rural landscape mosaic

These are the data from the publication in Journal of Applied Ecology in 2011, See References for full reference and doi link.

The dataset contains a readme file, a csv file with data and a shp file (collection of four separate files to be opened in a GIS program) showing the locations of sampling sites. Please consult the readme for information regarding data structure, and the journal article for sampling information and scientific context.

Data from: Land uplift creates important meadow habitat and a potential original niche for grassland species

This is the dataset for the article "Land uplift creates important meadow habitat and a potential original niche for grassland species" by Auffret & Cousins.

The data presented include:
1. A land uplift model showing the century of land emergence since 2000BC for all land, and two definitions of potential meadow grassland in the regions of Uppland and Södertörn in central Sweden.

2. The
observations of plant species on 20 coastal meadow grasslands in central Sweden in 2012.

3. Species richness and the number of red-listed plant species in coastal areas of the province of Södermanland from the regional plant atlas, along with selected landscape variables.

More detailed information is available in the readme file, as well as the original publication.

Please feel free to get in touch.
