Korean national election study 1988

This survey was carried out in connection with the Korean National Assembly election on April 26. The respondents were asked about political interest, opinion on drastical changes in Korean politics, most serious problems in Korea, knowledge of candidates running for the National Assembly, candidate preferred and reason for prefering this candidate, source of information on politics and election campaign, most important campaign issue and party benefited from this issue, evaluation of present government and reason for this assessment, evaluation of president Roh Tae Woo, party liked most and second best party, and party voted for in the 1985 election. Background variables include information on gender, age, occupation, religion, place of residence, grandfathers hometown, education, and monthly income. There are also a number of questions concerning economic daily newspapers.
