SIFO 1989: EC-opinion
https://doi.org/10.5878/002440
In this study, carried out by the Swedish Institute of Public Opinion Research (SIFO) at the request of the Swedish Employers' Confederation, the respondents were asked about their interest to follow what happens within the EC; opinion on the development of standard of living, social welfare, and number of jobs if Sweden joins the EC; attitudes toward the free labour market within the EC, and how a Swedish EC-membership would affect fields such as the environmental protection, working environment, and the security of the country. Background variables include information on gender, place of living, age, Swedish citizenship, occupation, private or public sector, trade union, right to vote in general elections, voting habit, political party preference and party voted for in 1988.
