We used two necessary selection criteria: i) the organizations/movements self-identify as being led by persons who have a duty of care, e.g. mothers, fathers, grandparents, or other caregivers, and ii) the organizations/movements take action to improve the quality of life for their children, grandchildren, and future generations in urban contexts.
