Data for Exploring the dimensionality of the positive youth development 5C very short form using Rasch measurement theory in Swedish upper secondary school contexts.
https://doi.org/10.5878/w9wy-ak07
The dataset consists of 430 responses from a survey conducted among upper secondary school students in southern Sweden during the spring of 2024. The instrument used was a translated version of the 5C Positive Youth Development – Very Short Form (PYD-VSF). Two background variables are included, along with the 17 items that make up the instrument.
The data are structured so that they can be exported to a CSV file prepared for RUMM2030, meaning there is an empty variable between the ID number and gender, as well as between gender and the items. Gender and school year are nominal variables. All responses to the respective items are ordinal variables ranging from 1 to 5.
In the psychometric study that was conducted, this SPSS file was used to export the data to **RUMM2030**, where the analyses were then performed.
