3D Model of Roman Bronze Bust (DC321_BLM28583_61) from a Cauldron, Mid-2nd Century AD
This dataset contains a 3D model of a bronze bust of a man with well-defined facial features, bare-chested and with a Greco-Roman hairstyle with twisted plaits. On the back is an 18 mm wide hook with a handle. Of provincial Roman origin that can be traced to the south-eastern part of today's Czech Republic. Dated to the mid 100s AD. The bust has been used as decoration on a bronze cauldron. A bust and a handle are associated with the same cauldron.

Description of the mode of collection:
The 3D model (.obj file) was created using the Artec Space Spider scanner and the scan acquisition method. It was processed with Artec Studio 15, consists of 3,447,846 polygons, and includes one texture layer. The acquisition involved three scans. Measurements are recorded in millimetres.
