Description of the mode of collection:
Data were collected through literature searches in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Searches were performed in titles, abstracts, and keywords using predefined search strings related to electrodialysis and critical raw materials. Only peer-reviewed research articles were included. Relevant studies were identified through manual screening and evaluation of titles, abstracts, and full texts. Bibliographic information and variables related to, for example, critical raw materials, electrodialysis techniques, membrane types, feed materials, methods, and results were manually extracted and structured into CSV files.

The dataset includes scientific studies from multiple geographic regions and countries and is not limited to a specific geographic area. Data were collected from international scientific literature indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
