Live-cell Phase Contrast image dataset using a balanced class benchmark assay.

The dataset contains time-lapse images of A549 and U2OS cells. Paired github repository: https://github.com/edvinforsgren/LCTPOpens in a new tab The data contains time-lapse images of two cell lines (A549 and U2OS). The cells were cultivated in an benchmark assay developed for a paper where analysis of a single time-point versus analysis of the full time-lapse was evaluated as a way to determine if adding temporal data could enhance the mined features and improve downstream tasks. The experimental set-up consists of three biological replicates (i.e. three plates with unique layout variants) for each cell-line (A549 and U2OS) with 5 technical replicates (i.e. 5 wells) and 15 DMSO control wells each - for a total of 15 replicates and 45 DMSO replicates for each cell-line. The time-lapse acquisition was taken with 2 hours between each acquisition over a duration of 72 hours.
