Reindeer activity data and temperature data used in the article "Warming summers limit reindeer grazing, weakening herbivory pressure in the mountain tundra"

https://doi.org/10.17045/STHLMUNI.25406698
The datasets provided are activity data and temperature data recorded from loggers deployed on 31 reindeer in three Swedish herding districts, during the summers 2019 and 2020. It is the data used for the study presented in the article "Warming summers limit reindeer grazing, weakening herbivory pressure in the mountain tundra". The datasets are given in one Excel file (one dataset per Excel sheet), together with a Metadata description (also one metadata per Excel sheet). The datasets can also be found compiled in the R datafile " Data_Warming_summers_reindeer_grazing_Feb2026". An R script, entitled "R_script_Warming_summers_reindeer_grazing" on how the analysis is done, has also been made available. Note: Since the reindeer activity data come from loggers deployed on semi-domesticated reindeer owned by reindeer herders, the raw GPS data belong to the herding communities who collaborated on this project and is not given direct public access.
