Data to: "Habitat suitability mapping for grassland species: using propagule source and grazing activity to predict colonization of restored habitat patches in a historical landscape" Kapás et al. 2025 in Restoration Ecology
https://doi.org/10.17045/STHLMUNI.26116891
The zip file includes the re-scaled raster layers (0 is not suitable and 1 is being suitable for grassland colonization), such as habitat openness (rescaled_openness_2m) ,presence of rock (rescaled_boulder_2m), slope gradient (rescaled_slope_2m),soil moisture availability ( rescaled_wetness_2m) distance to propagule sources (rescaled_proximity_250m), cattle activity (rescaled_cow_raster_2m) in 2-m resolution. These layers are used to model the habitat suitability for colonization of grasslands following restoration in Stensjö hamlet ( 57°20'44.33"N, 16°28'0.56"E), Sweden. The details for processing the layers can be found in Method section of the related paper and source of the layers is stated in Supplementary Table 1. The stensjo_species_list.csv include vascular plant species list (presence) in 320 plots (plot_id) used in the modeling the suitability. The location of these plots (POINT_X, POINT_Y, coordinate system: SWEREF99) are shared in the stensjo_plots_metadata.csv file. The species data is collected on 100 x 100 cm level along 62 transects.
