Cross sections for dissociative recombination of ArH⁺ and NeH⁺ calculated using MQDT

In dissociative recombination, an electron is captured by a molecular ion and this is followed by dissociation into neutral atoms. We have here performed MQDT (Multi-channel Quantum Defect Theory) calculations on dissociative recombination of ArH⁺ and NeH⁺ at low collision energies (< 2 eV). The calculated cross sections can be relevant for modelling of chemistry in interstellar space or e.g. divertor fusion plasmas. The data contains calculated total cross section of dissociative recombination of different isotoplogues of ArH⁺ and NeH⁺ in ro-vibrational states (v,j). The files contain two columns: Collision energy (in eV), Cross section (in cm²).
