Data of the Hilma af Klint project (project number RAÄ-2024-1242)
https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17525235
Two oil paintings by Hilma af Klint have been analysed to understand af Klint's early and figurative studies. The search for underdrawings, ground layer composition and pigments used have been supported by analytical methods: multiband imageing, XRF and FTIR. Data and instrument reports are included in the upload. One painting belongs to the Bruco Foundation (Visby, Sweden) and one to a private person in the west of Sweden. Analysis have been done at Kulturarvslaboratoriet at the Swedish National Heritage Borad (www.raa.seOpens in a new tab).
