Riksmaten adults 2010-2011 - Survey
In Riksmaten adults 2010–11, a representative sample of 5000 individuals between 18–80 years living in Sweden were invited to participate in the study. The data collection took place between May 2010 and July 2011. Riksmaten adults 2010-11 included three parts: diet registration, survey, and sampling (blood and urine). A total of 2268 individuals participated in Riksmaten adults 2010-11, of which 1 797 in the dietary registration, 2140 in the survey and 300 people in the sampling. The participation rate differed between the various parts of the survey. In the dietary registration, the participants reported everything they ate and drank during four consecutive days. The reporting was done in a web-based food diary. The questionnaire, which also were web-based, consisted about 50 questions. Some of the participants were asked, in addition to diet registration and survey, also to give blood and urine samples. Purpose: The aim was to examine food consumption and nutrient intake among women and men in Sweden.
