Swedish government official investigations and post-war legislation
https://doi.org/10.5878/433h-nc80
This study is part of the project ´Swedish government official reports´. The purpose of the study is to shed light upon the use of government investigations in modern legislation during the period 1945-1976. A random sample of government bills have been coded with respect to some 60 characteristics. These characteristics intend to classify the legislation along various dimensions whereupon timeseries can be built. Among other things the material has been used to show for which types of legislative matters the governmental investigative system has played an important role.
