Population:
168 birds (laying hens) in a commercial farm in Sweden.
Study design:
- Observational study
Description of study design:
Each bird was x-rayed several times: 3-5 times during their life, 1 time post-mortem, and 1 time for its dissected tibia and keel bones. The exact number of images per each bird is tabled in "number_of_images_per_bird.txt" The experiment was basically on 200 bird, but some birds (e.g. with ID 002) have been excluded form the x-raying for some reasons, e.g. they lost their ID tag during the experiment or get died.
