Project data: Gonyostomum semen and pCO₂

This includes all data from the project "Gonyostomum semen and lake pCO2 and carbon fluxes" that has been used and referred to in the manuscript "Nuisance alga reduces lake pCO₂ and carbon flux to the atmosphere in boreal lakes". Data used in statistical analysis is found in the folder "R data" (including lake environmental data, Gonyostomum semen data and clean sensor data from which pCO₂ values were calculated). "Raw data" includes compiled data that was not used in statistical analyses, but collected during sampling and laboratory work by Karla Münzner and Thomas Rohrlack (additional lake environmental data, lake alkalinity used for pCO₂ calculations and qPCR copy number data and G. semen cell abundance calculations). The folder "Protocols qPCR" holds all lab protocols used for dna analyses (DNA extraction, DNA quantification and qPCR). There are also field notes in pdf-format for field work undertaken in Sweden ("Field notes"). The dataset was originally published in DiVA and moved to SND in 2024.
