The data set contains pre-processed raw data for the research project studying human driving behavior. The data set is pseudonymized but contains sensitive personal data. The research participants are tasked to drive through an S-shaped two-lane road on a texture-rich ground in virtual reality. The data consists of visual images rendered from the point of view of the research participants, with their gazing using eye tracking and vehicle kinematics data. Their responses through the steering wheel, pedal position, and head kinematics are captured during the experiment.

All devices are connected to a personal computer with computer graphics rendering capabilities, via the serial bus, and ethernet. All incoming data is serialized and harmonized within OpenDLV powered by libcluon. The graphics rendering pipeline is carried out through OpenVR with Vulkan API interfacing to OpenDLV. The vast majority of the raw data is serialized and saved within OpenDLV in rec-files. Graphics rendering data is saved via binary files to be post-rendered at a later point to unpack the data.
