Local information activities 1979

The purpose of this survey was to illustrate the information activities of the Swedish municipalities during a period of increasing need for local information, due to the amalgamation reform and the expansion of local activities. A mail questionnaire, framed in collaboration with the information department of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities, was sent to all local governments. The questionnaire included questions on information papers and other summaries of local service and activities, information bureaus and local advertising. Other questions dealt with information to immigrants and other groups in society. Purpose: Provide a current picture of the Swedish municipalities actions to inform the general public
