Due to development- and local planning of an area adjacent to the farm of Ullstämma south of Linköping, the Swedish National Heritage Board's contract archaeology division, UV Öst, has performed a stage 2 survey within the property Ullstämma 5:1 in Linköping municipality. The survey also included a culture-historical evaluation of a planned road that will cross the medieval village site of Ullstämma. 17 so-called objects were chosen for surveying. Within seven of them were found earlier unknown archaeological remains, consisting of settlements and large areas with agricultural layers.
