GIS-material for the archaeological project: Ullstämma 5:1

The information in the abstract is translated from the archaeological report: Due to development- and local planning of an area adjacent to the farm of Ullstämma south of Linköping, the Swedish National Heritage Board's contract archaeology division, UV Öst, has performed a stage 2 survey within the property Ullstämma 5:1 in Linköping municipality. The survey also included a culture-historical evaluation of a planned road that will cross the medieval village site of Ullstämma. 17 so-called objects were chosen for surveying. Within seven of them were found earlier unknown archaeological remains, consisting of settlements and large areas with agricultural layers. Purpose: The information in the purpose is translated from the archaeological report: The aim of the survey was to investigate whether the development area contained any unknown archaeological remains and, if possible, to characterise and date the features or finds.
