Previous Archaeological Excavations along the 'Ostlänken' Railway Corridor 1965-2012: An Iron Age settlement at Högby old plot

During summer and autumn 1989, UV Öst investigated an area with settlement remains in the area of Högby tomt. The remains of five houses, an enclosure, a pit system and several hearths could be distinguished. The ages of the features range from Roman Iron Age to the Viking period. The ZIP-file contains four shapefiles with information on trenches, ancient monuments, archaeological finds and other data from the archaeological survey, as well as four maps of the investigation area.
